Davis Cup Final will be Held only in Major Cities

davis-cup-thropyThe International Tennis Federation made an announcement that Davis cup final will be held only for the major cities. Argentina used a stadium which doesn't have sufficient facilities in last November, where Davis cup match was played and the authorities arises some question.The tennis Federation bumped up Albania, Kenya and Zambia from Class C membership to Class B, and Mongolia and Antigua and Barbuda were dropped from their list.

Federer Regain His Number One Spot in World Tennis

2589500Rafael Nadal’s had maintained a solid lead over Roger Federer before his knee problems began. He always used to held a solid lead over Roger Federer in world tennis ranking. Nadal took part all the big tennis event's and did better than Federer's, his biggest rival. In the past year Nadal won 7 tournaments, including the Australians Open on that time Nadal was world number one in ranking. Federer on the same time only two title including the American Open. But Nadal's recent losses and he could not able to take part in Wimbledon due to injury cost him heavily in a short period of time.

French tennis player died in a Mysterious Way

french.jpgFrench tennis player Mathieu Montcourt, Who used to live in Paris suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt found dead outside his apartment on Tuesday.The police said that he died of natural causes. The body was first found by his girl friend outside their ground floor apartment.She informed she police and they said there were no indications that Montcourt had been attacked.Montcourt was of the 24-year-old , currently 119th in the banned for eight weeks from international tennis and fined 12,000 dollars for betting on the Internet on the outcome of tennis matches.Montcourt,who appealed against the ban in the court, reduced the sanction by two weeks.

Swiss star Federer who is 27-year -old played all over four hours to achieve victory against his American opponent Andy Roddick.Another American great Pete Sampras Sampras watched as Roger Federer broke all time his record for most Grand Slam singles titles in men's tennis history. Pete Sampras gave complement Federer as a all time great tennis player.
